Free Choices are just that – your choice! Any genre that you choose! If you choose poetry – you do need to write in prose about your poetry.
Ideas:
- blog about the experience of blogging – connecting – as a reader and a writer
- a book / film / musician / play that you have loved
- a dream
- a heartbreak
- a childhood memory
- a place – where you’ve lived or visited or hope to visit
- a letter to a parent, friend, loved one, teacher, etc…
- take a visual – art or photo – and write as your heart pleases
- a travelogue
- a short story or script (within 1000 words please)
- a hobby
- an interview
- opinion about news (i.e. Syrian refugees, politics, etc…)
- someone who inspires you
- a letter recommending a book to someone you know
- take any diploma prompt and write about it informally
